- If you want to make best use of the extended buffer, you'll want to make sure
- that you set the COM port to BUFFER=ON rather than AUTO. If BUFFER is AUTO,
- as long as IDSR and OCTS are ON (the default, and probably good to do), you'll
- still be getting 1 interrupt per character even with the 16550's. The other
- settings shouldn't have to change.
