- Right now, emulating a dual-monitor setup with two windows isn't
- available. But it's a neat idea. I wonder if IBM will attempt this -
- anyone listening?

-
- Sounds like TreeView is acting funny.

-
- Not right now. I normally use "flowed" spacing, so the icons fill
- their space. If you insert <cr> characters in the icon's title, it
- looks pretty good. I always have "maintain sort order" checked - I
- like to locate things quickly.

-
- There is a printer driver called IBMNULL. It isn't installed by
- default (even though it shows up on the printer settings panel all the
- time), but you can install it. I believe it's on the Printer disk
- number 1. An updated IBMNULL driver was posted recently as well.
- Look for it on ftp-os2.nmsu.edu, or on software.watson.ibm.com.
-
- Printing to IBMNULL has the following effects:
- 1) Raw text is passed unmodified - this is nice for dumping text in
- draft mode.
- 2) Graphics are printed at low-res 72dpi Epson-compatible graphics.
- This is also the res that old IBM printers used. Try this if
- you can't find a driver for an old IBM/Epson compatible printer.
- 3) Form feeds may or may not be added, depending on your setting.
- A trailing form feed may be added, suppressed, or conditionally
- added. Conditional means that one will only be added if the
- document doesn't already end with one.

-
- Yes. If you have the cartridge, the fonts will be available for PM.
- At least for the printer. Apps that request "printer fonts", like
- Excel, will be able to print with them. Generic fonts of some kind
- will be used as placeholders on screen unless you install an OS/2 font
- of the same name.
-
- As for WIN-OS2, I think it's the same thing. Remember that you'll
- have to configure that WIN-OS2 printer from the WIN-OS2 control panel.
