  14. Try this,  When the computer is loading os/2 after the second logo as soon as the blank desktopscreen appears hold down <left shift> and <left cntl> and F1.
  15. this prevents all the previous sesions stuff from coming back.  Then work as you like or shutdown again and then reboot.  I've had this type of problem
  16. several times from bogus programs and just doing dumb stuff.  Anyway sometimes 
  17. old programs just don't die.  i wish os/2 had a kill process command.
