- I recently called IBM's os2 tech line to report the black and white icon bug
- that I discovered shortly after installing for the first time. (I recieved my
- os2 upgrade package about a month ago). I reported the bug and the rep told me
- that it was fairly common and that they did not have a fix for it yet,
- althought they were working on it now. After poking around in the net here, I
- understand that the fix was out months ago in a CSD? I asked the rep to send
- me a disk with current bug fixes so that I would not have to discover all the
- bugs myself. He replied that all bugs and fixes were handled on a case by case
- basis and could not send me a disk, although he would send me the B&W icon fix,
- alone, as soon as it was discovered. Am I being snowballed here? If the CSD's
- are available, why didn't he just send me one? And what is this about not
- having a fix for bug commonly known to have a fix out? What I'm really trying
- to ask here is where to get a CSD as IBM has obviously put me on a backburner
- here. Can anyone help me here?????
