- I just bought a SoundBlaster clone. A "ThunderBoard".
- Ive set it to IRQ5 (and IRQ7 and 2, during my experimentation), but for some
- reason it will only run SOME SB programs.
- Under raw DOS everything works fine, but a testing program that came with
- the card can't seem to use DMA 1 under OS/2.
- It's all rather puzzling.
-
- Is there any common cards (modems? IDE cards?) that use DMA 1?
- Could it be a Port address problem? Mine is set to 220h....
-
- I don't want to have to reconfigue my system and create a DOS partition just
- to muck around with sounds, but I'm heading that way...
