  23. the news report i read said that OS/2 was remaining inside the
  24. existing IBM division which now is based around high end pc's (?)
  25. and the RS6000 workstations. the usual anti OS/2 line in the
  26. guardian newspaper weekly computer section gloated over the
  27. fact that the IBM PC division could now ditch OS/2.

  29. also, someone from the new PC company (cannavino ?) said that
  30. it would be so independent that they might consider getting an
  31. indenpendent stock market quotation in a couple of years.
