- I have a Genoa 6400 video card. I'm running OS/2 2.0 on a 486-33
- The question: Why can't I access some of my video modes when OS/2
- is running? (I tried in a full-screen DOS session, and it merely
- locked up the system when I went for my 800x600x256 mode. It also
- get screwed when I switch to 640x480x256 and many other modes.)
- Is there any way to get past this problem?
-
- Note: upgrading my video card or my computer or any other hardware
- is out of the question unless someone else wishes to pay for the upgrade.
- Also, the Genoa uses it's own BIOS called GVGA.
-
- Thanks for any help,
- -Neal
