- I installed seceret weapons of the luftwaffa(sp?) yesterday, and everything
- went fine until i switched back to WPS, and found that my mouse wasn't working
- I thought that i had simply accidently loosend the cable, so i wiggled
- connectors, and re-started my sistem. Imagine my suprise when I got the
- message "\os2\mdos\vmouse.sys not installed, line ?? of config.sys ignored" or
- something to that effect. after searching for about a half an hour, i finaly
- found the problem. Apparently, the instalation program decided that i needed
- the new version of the logitec mouse driver that came with the game. so it
- copied the new driver to d:\os2\mouse.sys. how nice of it. after unpacking
- the os/2 mouse.sys from disk 3, I decided it might be good to mark all the
- .exe files in my os2 directory as read-only. I dont know if this is the
- only lucasfilm game that dose this, but you may want to take some precautions
- if you are installing any of their games.
