- Try installing without the Plus HardCard installed. A co-worker of mine is
- running DOS and Windows 3.1 and he is having xactly the same problem....

- You must also make sure that there are no IRQ conflicts - thought the fact you
- listed the IRQs above may mean you already know that IRQs can NOT be shared.

- Dual boot is also a pain in the butt at times. I have gone pure HPFS on almost
- every install and never had any problems worth mentioning. OS/2 is happiest
- running on HPFS.

- If you want to retain the ability to run certain DOS programs from outside
- OS/2, just retain a FAT partition with those programs in it. Then you can boot
- off a DOS floppy and happily run those programs - including Windows 3.1 or
- whatever.

- This configuration isn't as elegant as the dual boot scenario, but you will
- have fewer problems, too. AND you will be able to take advantage of the long
- file names and HPFS speed in your other partitions.
