  48. Try installing without the Plus HardCard installed. A co-worker of mine is
  49. running DOS and Windows 3.1 and he is having xactly the same problem....

  51. You must also make sure that there are no IRQ conflicts - thought the fact you
  52. listed the IRQs above may mean you already know that IRQs can NOT be shared.

  54. Dual boot is also a pain in the butt at times. I have gone pure HPFS on almost
  55. every install and never had any problems worth mentioning. OS/2 is happiest
  56. running on HPFS.

  58. If you want to retain the ability to run certain DOS programs from outside
  59. OS/2, just retain a FAT partition with those programs in it. Then you can boot
  60. off a DOS floppy and happily run those programs - including Windows 3.1 or
  61. whatever.

  63. This configuration isn't as elegant as the dual boot scenario, but you will
  64. have fewer problems, too. AND you will be able to take advantage of the long
  65. file names and HPFS speed in your other partitions.
