  13. After solving my last installation (some of my RAM was bad), I'm now having
  14. a new problem with installing OS/2. I can get through the Hard Disk Configuration
  15. but when I get 
  16. to the setup disks (disks 7-18) it freezes -- once on disk 7, another on
  17. disk 9, and another time on disk 14.  It will just be copying the files and 
  18. suddenly will stop. No error message or anything will happen. I've talked to
  19. IBM and the support person was baffled.  He said they'd try to do some research
  20. and would get back to me.

  22. I have the following setup:

  24. 1) 386/33 with 4 MB RAM (4 1MB SIMMs)
  25. 2) Maxtor 213 MB IDE HD (C:)
  26. 3) Plus 105MB Hard Card (D:)
  27. 4) 5.25" Floppy Drive (A:)
  28. 5) 3.5" Floppy Drive (B:)
  29. 6) Paradise VGA Card
  30. 7) Microsoft Inplus Mouse Card
  31. 8) Microsoft Mouse (set for interrupt 2)
  32. 9) SoundBlaster Sound Card (set for IRQ 5)
  33. 10) NEC Multisync/4D monitor
  34. 11) HP Deskwriter + printer
  35.  
  36. I'm currently running DOS 5.0 and am attempting to install OS/2 (from 5.25"
  37. disks) as a dual boot on C:.
  38.  
  39. Any suggestions?
