  27.    There's been a lot of traffic recently with people asking why
  28.    Compu$erve is Microsoft's primary carrier for NT developer support when
  29.    Internet is cheaper, easier to get at, etc, etc.

  31.    Since anyone on the Internet can mail CI$ user id xxxxx,yyy by sending
  32.    to "xxxxx.yyy@compuserve.com", is there a Microsoft user id that us
  33.    Internetters can send our questions to and receive a reply from?

  35. Their domain name is "microsoft.com", so try Microsoft's postmaster. I've
  36. sent mail there before, asking for listings from the infamous building 21.

  38.    That would save us the hassle of subscribing the CI$, joining the forum
  39.    and all that junk, while still allowing Microsoft to use all their
  40.    CI$-based support systems.

  42. CI$ won't allow you to post to fora, or to FTP, or anything other than
  43. send a mail message. Otherwise, you'd be using something for free that
  44. other people pay money for, and then CI$ would lose money.
