- Back in July it was mentioned that the next release of Windows-NT,
- or the first real beta release would be in September.
-
- It is now September and I was wondering, when we might
- expect to see the next release. I could really use an update
- to WINDBG which could handle C++ properly, as well as an
- update to the rest of the system to handle dos and windows apps
- better.
-
- Is there any Microsoft official (or unofficial) comment on when
- we might see the next release. Are we still saying September? or
- has it been moved back to October or later?
-
- I am not asking for a commited date, just an idea so that we can
- know if we should look for workarounds to some of the bugs and
- problems that we have come up against in the pre-release
- code.
