- Today I tried to install Windows NT (from CD-ROM). After just 10 seconds
- after inserting the BOOT diskette, I got a TRAP message. Is this C2-
- security??? :-)
-
- I don't have anything special in my machine, just 486/33, 16 Mb RAM,
- AMI BIOS, Toshiba CD-ROM, Adaptec 1542B, ATI Graphics Ultra (8514/A)
- and 3Com Etherlink II/16. OS/2 2.0 runs fine on this machine.
-
- By copying the NT-files "manually" (with a modified DOS2NT batch), and
- after manually writing the NT Boot sector on the disk, I managed to get
- NT working, but this took several hours! What's wrong with the install
- program?
