- I am an experienced programmer with NO Windows experience so please
- excuse any stupid questions.
-
- I have Borland C++ v3.1 and I wish to write Windows drivers for
- machines I have attached to my PC. I've seen talk of the MS DDK,
- but is it needed? The only info I've got on Windows drivers is a
- sentence from my documentation that says that a device driver is
- simply a special kind of DLL. If this is true then writing a
- driver should be easy, right?
-
- I've not been able to find D. Nortons book so if you could also
- give me a rundown on the sticky points of driver design I would
- be gratefull.
-
- Thanks in advance ... thanks for your time.
