  13. I am an experienced programmer with NO Windows experience so please
  14. excuse any stupid questions.

  16. I have Borland C++ v3.1 and I wish to write Windows drivers for 
  17. machines I have attached to my PC. I've seen talk of the MS DDK, 
  18. but is it needed? The only info I've got on Windows drivers is a 
  19. sentence from my documentation that says that a device driver is 
  20. simply a special kind of DLL. If this is true then writing a 
  21. driver should be easy, right?

  23. I've not been able to find D. Nortons book so if you could also
  24. give me a rundown on the sticky points of driver design I would 
  25. be gratefull.
