- OK, it's like this. I used the Windows terminal program at
- my undergrad inst. I just dialed in and I could do file
- transfers with kermit and everything.
-
- Now I have moved and am using a different system. I connect
- with Crosstalk in DOS at 9600, 2400 baud and there are no
- problems.
-
- However, when I use the terminal program (which is the only
- software that I own that does kermit) the characters are
- all goofy. That is, the W looks like a D of sorts, the c looks
- like an "o" with 2 dots over it. It is nearly impossible
- to read. Why is this happening?
-
- Please E-mail with suggestions to
- sybesma@quip.eecs.umich.edu
- thanks
