  21. You are almost right.  What the original poster has found is Windows
  22. "permanent" swapfile.  This is the only swapfile that is hidden.  If you
  23. use a "temporary" swapfile then you can see the swapfile name in the
  24. root directory of the drive you specified.  I believe it has a .swp
  25. extension.  A permanent swap file is always on your hard disk and insures
  26. that Windows will always have this amount of swap space on your disk.  A
  27. temporary swap file is created when you start Windows and removed by Windows
  28. when you exit Windows.  If you reboot in the middle of Windows (or your
  29. machine goes south for some reason (-8 ) then you can see the temporary
  30. swap file using the DOS "dir" command.
