- I have evaluated a few X-servers (PC-Xview, HCL-eXceed/W, and Xvision), and
- the best Windows X-server is PC-Xview. This now is a division of NCD.
- They can be reached at (800) 800-9599.
-
- The program supports Windows as the window manager, and also remote
- window managers, such as twm, openlook, and motif. It also has "virtual
- windows", so that you can have X-clients off the side of the screen, and
- then move your mouse, and the screen will move to expose the "hidden"
- clients.
-
- HCL-eXceed/W had a few bugs, and Xvision was not as well done as PC-Xview.
