  45. $any swap file at all running.

  49. I have a 486/33 w/8MB memory.  I changed from a 4 MB swap file to NONE and the
  50. performance change was significant when using Windows apps, especially Word 2.0.

  52. Give it a try.  Use a memory gauge to monitor your memory levels.
