- Sorry! I think I didn't answer the question in the above reply. The best
- windows program that can handle "paste" to my opinion is Z-Soft Publishers'Paint
- Brush. You can simutaneously display a reduce-sized duplicate by the side of the
- scrollable window in which your big montage sit. Any change you make on the big
- image will be reflected on the small image instantly. Unfortunately, you can not
- paste several 256-color image into a 256-color image (how many colors we have).
- You still have to paste your gifs into a 24-bit image to get a good resolution.
- At this point, having two big 24-bit image, unless you have a 486-50 and 16 Meg
- RAM, the simutaneous scheme won't work.
- After you finish your montage, you can reduce the color to 256 using the
- same software. But the Paint Shop Pro will still give better result because the
- 236-color windows scheme mentioned above. By the way, the Paint Shop Pro is
- under a file named psp?.zip.
