  14. I just upgraded my system memory for a total of 8 megs and the
  15. performance increase was phenominal.  Everything works faster.
  16. I had 4 megs before, and if took over an hour to compile 0.97.2 kernel
  17. with gcc2.2.2d, now in takes a whopping 15 minutes.  Also, X stuff
  18. runs alot faster.

  20. If you are thinking about upping your memory, do it!
