- Up to now I've just been using the MCC-interim releases, but recently
- I've gotten into kernel hacking. When I upgraded the 0.97pl2 kernel
- from the MCC-interim package to pl4 it broke ps and free. I got the
- most recent ps I could find on tsx-11 (for pl2), but it didn't work
- either. Is there a ps for pl4 and after (I've since gone to pl5)? Or
- are we waiting for 0.98?
-
- BTW, after I did 'ps -U' with pl4 the keyboard would stop echoing my
- input. This seems to have gone away with pl5 (but ps still bombs).
-
- Oh, yeah: I'm using the gcc 2.2.2d compiler that came with the MCC
- distribution. My computer is a Zenith Z-386, 16 Mhz, with 5 megs.
- I have a 387 (really a Cyrix).
