- Hi. I'm posting this for a friend. He has no UUCP access so he asked me to
- post this:
-
- Hi. I have been looking into running Linux on my DOS system. I have
- a Diamond Stealth Video Card w/1mb of vram. I know that it supports the VESA
- standard for 1024x768x256, but I have been told that it is not supported and
- cannot be due to Diamond's unwillingness to publish specs or something along
- those lines. If anyone has any info about his, or the email address to mail
- complaints to Diamond to, please let me know.
-
- Also, what version of Linux do I need to get full tcp/ip running
- under a SLIP connection? I can connect at 19200, but I need to have a serial
- session first so that I can setup my password etc.
-
- If you have any info about any of this, please send me email at:
- mmead@vtssi.vt.edu
-
- Thanks in advance.
