  13.     The 0.97pl5 kernel now contains the scsi code that is needed for the
  14. cdrom, but the filesystem is not yet a part of the kernel because it is
  15. eventually envisioned (by Linus) that this will be installable at run time once
  16. the installable driver/filesystem code is working in the kernel.  Until the
  17. loadable filesystem stuff is ready, the filesystem will have to be installed
  18. the old-fashion way.  Thus I have prepared cdrom-0.5.tar.Z, and put it in the
  19. ALPHA/cdrom directory on tsx-11.mit.edu.  This new file contains *only* the
  20. filesystem, as that is all that you will need for now.  There are no functional
  21. changes to the filesystem since 0.97 pl4 was released.
