  12. hello.  sorry to bother you...

  14. i am a linux [l]user, and this is the first machine that i've actually
  15. sysadmin'ed myself.  i'm trying to install gcc.  according to the readme,
  16. there are 5 files that i needed.  however, each time i try to sh the
  17. install program, it complains that some-or-other file is missing.
  18.  
  19. so my questions is, is there a set of instructions that will help a
  20. moron install gcc?  i'm not sure i'm up to that expertise level, but
  21. i'll give it a try.
