  26. (1) Where can I get the 8514/A X server for Linux?

  28.  There are several site that have the X server and source code available:

  42.  The binary server is in the Xlinux8514.T.Z file and the source code is in

  46. (2) What kernel/GCC releaes does this require?

  48.  From the README file in the Xlinux8514.T.Z file, you need at least the
  49.   0.97 kernel and GCC 2.2.2d.

  51.  There is one problem with 0.97.pl2 and more recent kernels, that I'm looking
  52.   into.  For now, I suggest that you stick with 0.97.pl1 unless you have
  53.   another work around.
