- Hi,
-
- I just tried using DOSFS, and what I noticed is that when I write a
- large file the performance is really bad. (I'm trying to backup my
- linux partition: I've created space on my msdos partition and would
- like to be able to write a 40M tar file there.)
-
- Anyway, performance starts around 200k per 10 seconds (not very good,
- but livable) and drops to 30k per 10 seconds when the file is about
- 10M long.
-
- Does anybody else experience these problems? Does anybody have a fix?
-
- Roger.
