  32. I've experienced this problem and am working on it.  I don't
  33. have anything yet to report, but I have a few very good ideas
  34. as to what is causing this problem.  I'll let you know the
  35. status of things when I know more.

  37. For those of you experiencing this problem, I don't have a good
  38. temporary solution except to not use anything beyond 0.97.pl1
  39. until I can come up with something else.  I use CTRL-ALT-BACKSPACE
  40. to exit the server and CTRL-C to exit xinit/startx, but I've
  41. heard reports that this doesn't always work.
