  14. I had a couple of thoughts. I may not have any more for a while
  15. because those about burned me out, so here they are:

  17.     It would be a great help to those of use who don't have a disk
  18. editor for someone to upload pre-edited bootimages to the directories
  19. that now normally hold bootimages and/or rootimages.  We'd need four
  20. more images, I guess: one for booting partition 1, one for 2, 3, and
  21. partition 4. If the space can be spared on the ftp sites, it would be
  22. a great help. I can't afford to buy a disk-editor myself, and I don't 
  23. want to pirate one either. Is there anyone who owns a good editor who
  24. would be willing to do this for future releases? (Yes, I'm always this
  25. glib when volunteering other people :-)
  26.     Also, a beginner's guide to kernel recompilations might be
  27. nice, with a section on what exactly it entails, why it's useful, and
  28. some common problems encountered in doing so. This is also a project
  29. that I guess I'm asking someone else to do, since I don't have the 
  30. necessary experience -- although I'd be more than glad to help in any
  31. way I can.
