  12.  i uploaded R. Marlet's viewer.tar.Z to sunsite.unc.edu (dir
  13.    pub/Linux/X11/Incoming). it's a elisp/font package for Epoch
  14.    (and also Lucid Emacs but Lucid's 8bit support is broken) that
  15.    enables one to see TeX symbols while in Epoch. it has both
  16.    TeX and LaTeX support (ie abbrev for most std TeX macros) and 
  17.    also includes some decor/hilighting.
