  19. I'd be much happier if people using shoelace would try booting from a
  20. floppy (or using lilo) - right now I always suspect a problem with
  21. shoelace when I see these kinds of messages.  Shoelace isn't supposed to
  22. be used any more: please get lilo instead.

  24. Shoelace has several problems:
  25.  - it doesn't handle holes in the Image file gracefully
  26.  - nobody seems to remember if there are any limits to the size shoelace
  27.    can load. 
  28.  - shoelace cannot handle anything else but the minix fs.

  30. So please try booting from a floppy, and resubmit the problem-report if
  31. it still won't work.
