  19. I use it when sending faxes from my mail system to execute an
  20. arbitrary command (usually xroff) to process the text before the
  21. fax is sent.

  23. I use Chip Salzenberg's deliver MDA to divert e-mail to the fax
  24. delivery system.  When an Action: line is found in the header it
  25. is taken to be a call to xroff (a troff implementation) to format
  26. the body of the document into a tiff file which is then sent by
  27. the fax daemons.  If there is no Action: header it just uses an
  28. ascii->tiff conversion.
