- Are there any patches to the "emergency.mbox" save to stop it nuking
- an emergency.mbox that is already present ?
-
- Just recently, the mail spool was full, did a "$" and mail was saved to
- ~/emerngency.mbox. All was fine. Some more mail arrived, I deleted some
- and did "$" to resync the box - WOOOPS - it deletes the OLD ~/emergency.mbox
- and saves the new mail. Colorful were the words in the air >:-)
-
- Does anyone have a patch that will stop elm nuking ~/emergency.mbox ?
-
- Even some kludge that saved to ~/emergency.mbox.a then ~/emergency.mbox.b
- would be better than having an already existing ~/emergency.mbox being
- destroyed!
-
- Oh, what did I lose ? email going back 6 months :-(
