  13. Thanks for your answer. I was not aware of the 'newalias' command. I guess
  14. it just happened to work with my old version of elm, to just enter a new
  15. alias to recompute the data and hash file.

  17. But now I have another problem:
  18. I have very long aliases, as I grouped a couple of people into one alias.
  19. I already split it up, so that there are no more than 3 addresses assigned
  20. to one alias name. But even with only two names per alias, newalias
  21. complains that the names are too long.
  22. I must commit that the addresses are fairly long, e.g.
  23.  spiegl@informatik.tu-muenchen.de
  24. but there is no way of changing THAT. So what can I do about this?
