  20. The second annual Conference for Verilog HDL users and Open Verilog
  21. International (OVI) members will be held March 23-24, 1993, at the Santa
  22. Clara Westin in Santa Clara, California.  The Conference provides a forum
  23. for publishing Verilog HDL-related information and disseminating expertise
  24. about top-down design methodologies.  The Verilog HDL user community, EDA
  25. and ASIC companies and university researchers have an opportunity to play
  26. an active role in determining the future direction of Verilog HDL, interact
  27. with each other and exchange information.

  29. The activities planned for the Meeting include:
  30. > A technical program consisting of regular paper presentations, poster
  31.   sessions, and panel discussions.
  32. > Tutorial presentations on Verilog HDL and related topics.
  33. > Working group sessions for the various OVI Technical Subcommittees.
  34. > Vendor demonstrations of Verilog HDL-related products and services.
  35.  
  36. The Conference is intended to address the specific as well as the broader
  37. needs and concerns of the Verilog HDL community.  Contributions are
  38. solicited in, but not limited to, the following:

  40. 1. User Experiences and Case Histories
  41. 2. HDL Toolkit Applications
  42. 3. Library Development
  43. 4. Design Methodologies
  44. 5. Synthesis Technology and Guidelines
  45. 6. Analog and Mixed Analog/Digital Modeling
  46. 7. Architectural Extensions
  47. 8. Timing Extensions and Accurate Delay Modeling
  48. 9. Clocking Issues
  49. 10. Language Development; Standardization
  50. 11. HDL Interoperability
  51. 12. Test Applications
  52. 13. Tool Integration and Design Environments
  53. 14. Usage Tips and Hints
  54. 15. Design Representations: Textual, Graphical, Tabular
  55.  
  56. Abstracts for panels, tutorials, workshops and presentations should be
  57. submitted before **September 30, 1992**, to *MP Associates, Inc.*  See
  58. address below.  Participants will be notified of acceptance by **November
  59. 20, 1992**.

  61. Conference Proceedings and information will be distributed to all
  62. participants.  In addition, vendors who offer Verilog HDL-related products
  63. and services will be exhibiting and providing product information to
  64. attendees.
