- I'm teaching the undergraduate survey of programming languages
- course this semester and would like to spend one 75 minute lecture
- on Modula 2.
-
- Do you have any suggestions on what I should emphasize to give
- my students an accurate impression of the language?
-
- By way of background: because of recent changes in
- our curriculum most of my students learned either Ada
- or PL/I as a first programming language. Most of the transfer
- students in the class learned Pascal first. I have one student
- (doctoral student in history of science!) who knows only
- Fortran and Basic.
