  10. Can anyone point me to a reference or good sample source code of a Forth
  11. compiler?  What I really am interested in is a Forth compiler that would
  12. generate C code rather than assembler or machine code for a particular
  13. machine.  I am using TILE Forth and any compiler ought to preserve its
  14. machine-independence.

  16. In any case, I would like to see source for a Forth compiler, and even
  17. better a published book about one.  If anyone knows of such a thing.
