  45. Well, I have had NO problems with my Zoom 14.4 modem. It connects to several
  46. different modems just fine, including WorldBlazers, USR's, and others. I have
  47. never had problems with losing the line. Perhaps you have some register
  48. settings less than optimal, or noisy phone lines?
