  12. I've been using a MaxFax 9624 as our in-house email to fax server; but
  13. our mail system is on a Twincom 14.4K - so today I started setting up
  14. the Twincom to send and receive fax, so I can do everything on the
  15. one machine and take the 9624 home. (Yes, it *is* mine :-) )

  17. I could *not* get the Twincom to receive faxes... until I sent it one
  18. from a paper fax machine rather than the Maxfax.  Two paper fax machines
  19. in fact.

  21. When I send from the MaxFax, it fails to recognise it as a fax machine
  22. and wibbles a lot of modem noises at it.

  24. Does anyone recognise this behaviour?  And have any helpful comments?
