  10. I just recently purchased a Practical Peripherals PP14400FXSA modem for
  11. use on my BBS, however, I've run into some difficultly getting it to
  12. connect properly under Binkleyterm 2.56.  When another high-speed modem
  13. attempts a connection, both data compression and error correction disable
  14. once the connection is made.  I don't think it's the frontend mailer I'm
  15. using, rather the init string.  I would very much appreciate it if someone
  16. would send me their modem initializating settings for this specific
  17. brand, and/or some suggestions as to how I can fix this.  It's of 
  18. extreme importance I get this running soon, and any information anyone
  19. can provide me with will be VERY much appreciated.
