- Here's a question I was asked last night and I had to admit that I just
- did not know.
-
- When two v.32 modems connect, occasionally (more often than not on long
- lines) the hissing and screeching will turn into a very distinct 'buzz'
- for a second or two. I'm sure most of you have heard this.
-
- Does anyone know what is happening when this occurs ?? A guess would
- be that it has something to do with the echo cancellation, since it seems
- to happen mostly with long-distance connections.
-
- Anyone know for sure ??
-
- Thanks Good day JSW
