  10. hello *, (sorry if this is a faq). What modems are the best value for money
  11. in terms of initial investment and throughput for a leased line connection?

  13. I am thinking that V42(bis) will be necessary but of course there is no need
  14. for fax capabilities or anything else fancy. The line is supposed to carry
  15. 19.2 kbps, are there any available 2-wire modems that go that fast across
  16. the raw data link, or would we have to go with a 4-wire connection to get that
  17. link speed? The modems are to be installed in PC compatibles, so an "internal"
  18. design would be a possibility also.
