- Generally, guests are permitted to observe meetings, although
- participation is usually limited to members of the sponsoring
- organization. Minutes are kept, and are available if you can find
- someone to copy them for you. In this case, the best source for
- information is probably Communications Standards Review, a
- newsletter on modem, fax, and digital cellular standards committee
- activities. CSR has the actual minutes available (as well as copies
- of all documents presented at the meetings), and also publishes
- summaries of the meetings in the newsletter. Unfortunately, it's
- not cheap; I think their current subscription rate is around $700
- per year. But that's a lot cheaper than going to even one meeting
- in person!
