  12. I just got a Twincom 14.4kbps internal Fax/Data modem.  My problem is that I
  13. keep getting NO CARRIER while I am working on my school's VAX at 9600bps.  It
  14. connects fine and works at what must be 9600bps (boy that's much faster than
  15. my old 2400!).  I am using Procomm Plus 2.01 under DOS 5.0.  The software is
  16. set for 57600bps connections, but if I issue the MODE command under DOS for 
  17. 19200 (MODE COM2:19) DOS claims that my system doesn't support that speed.
  18. I now have it configured for 9600bps and seem to have no problems yet...
