  11. Bell/Cleary/Witten briefly describe a form of arithmetic coding which
  12. works for binary alphabets (i.e. it interprets the input bit stream as, well,
  13. a stream of bits).  I'm looking for source code for this.

  15. I went through the FAQ and all the FTP sites it mentions, but none of them
  16. contain what I'm looking for.  I'm hoping that this isn't the dreaded IBM
  17. Q-coder scheme (if so, tell me and I'll stop looking...).
