  12.   If there are both files XXX and XXX.zip in a directory, and you
  13. specify just 'XXX' (rather than 'XXX.zip') as an archivename on the
  14. command line, it is true that UNZIP then will try to read XXX (rather
  15. than XXX.zip) as an archive file.  This could be considered a feature
  16. rather than a bug (this way, you can always specify the right file by
  17. typing slightly more, while if things were done the other way, there
  18. would be no way at all to specify the non-'.zip'-extensioned file as
  19. an archive); I dunno...
