  19. The latest version of the EDICT (Japanese/English PD Dictionary File)
  20. is available in /pub/nihongo on monu6.cc.monash.edu.au.

  22. Sorry about the miscount of lines last time: this time there really are
  23. 27,182; I just counted.

  25. The big increase this time came from John Crossley, who put in 1000+
  26. jinmei and chimei. New contributors this time included Steven Sprouse
  27. and Jeff Friedl.

  29. The usual versions: edict, edict.zoo, edict.Z are there. Use ftp or
  30. ftpmail to get them.

  32. A message for JDIC users. A couple of people reported problems finding
  33. entries in the last version of edict, so I suspect the edict.jdx file 
  34. was warped. Can people look out for this, and let me know if they still
  35. encounter problems.
