- I just wanted to note that LISP has a full object oriented system
- built on top of it. Its called CLOS (Common LISP Object System).
- It offers all that you would get out of C++ and Smalltalk, such as
- abstraction, multiple inheritancy, generic functions, encapsulation,
- etc. Its very easy to use, and the ability to expand classes that
- already exist (by attaching methods to these classes) is extremely
- useful.
-
- I've used C++ on a small project, and found it to be cumbersome to
- deal with. And this was before I got into using LISP for all my
- work programming. (I used to be a C type person.)
-
- Just wanted to add that note and give some idea of my like for CLOS.
