  11. I just wanted to note that LISP has a full object oriented system
  12. built on top of it.  Its called CLOS (Common LISP Object System).
  13. It offers all that you would get out of C++ and Smalltalk, such as
  14. abstraction, multiple inheritancy, generic functions, encapsulation,
  15. etc.  Its very easy to use, and the ability to expand classes that
  16. already exist (by attaching methods to these classes) is extremely
  17. useful.

  19. I've used C++ on a small project, and found it to be cumbersome to
  20. deal with.  And this was before I got into using LISP for all my
  21. work programming.  (I used to be a C type person.)

  23. Just wanted to add that note and give some idea of my like for CLOS.
