- For the purposes of almost everyone on this list, Windows NT is NOT being
- released this fall! The developer's toolkit has
- already been released (I'm about to have it installed on my PC), but the
- average user is going to have to wait (many?) more months for a stable
- version. Also, be warned that many of OS/2's problems (bugs, delays,
- large RAM and hard disk needs) are going to be present in Windows NT,
- since OS/2 and Windows NT share rather ambitious technical goals
- that earlier dogged UNIX. In short, don't hold your breath, if you are
- a user with little patience for adjusting one's operating system.
