- In reply to questions about NB and OS/2: you need to set a path statement,
- either in CONFIG.SYS, or better in AUTOEXEC.BAT, to include [D]:NB, or what-
- ever. Be sure you make a copy of either file first. If you haven't yet read
- your CONFIG.SYS file you are in for a surprise since it is much more compli-
- cated than the DOS file. Take the time to read the help files before you
- alter it. AUTOEXEC.BAT is simpler. Open the settings book for you NB icon
- and go to DOS Settings on page 2, open that, and go to the print timeout
- setting. Set it to, say, 3 seconds, and that will speed up printing.
- Also you can go into the system folder and open the settings book on the print
- spooler and disable it, and then reboot. But if you do that you won't have
- the advantage of the print spooler which is that it runs a long print job in
- the back ground while you do something else like read your mail from the
- NOTABENE list.
