  16. In reply to questions about NB and OS/2: you need to set a path statement,
  17. either in CONFIG.SYS, or better in AUTOEXEC.BAT, to include [D]:NB, or what-
  18. ever.  Be sure you make a copy of either file first.  If you haven't yet read
  19. your CONFIG.SYS file you are in for a surprise since it is much more compli-
  20. cated than the DOS file.  Take the time to read the help files before you
  21. alter it.  AUTOEXEC.BAT is simpler.  Open the settings book for you NB icon
  22. and go to DOS Settings on page 2, open that, and go to the print timeout
  23. setting.  Set it to, say, 3 seconds, and that will speed up printing.
  24. Also you can go into the system folder and open the settings book on the print
  25. spooler and disable it, and then reboot.  But if you do that you won't have
  26. the advantage of the print spooler which is that it runs a long print job in
  27. the back ground while you do something else like read your mail from the
  28. NOTABENE list.
