- I find not having a manual for NB 4 something of a problem. I installed it on
- our personally owned computer with a brand new HP IIIP. Now I have to go
- through a menu system in order to "install" the printer so I can use its
- internal fonts.
-
- Why is this the case? Is it to save memory? Or, can one obtain wonderful
- performance by somehow having the program load the HP IIIP printer driver to
- use the internal fonts (ff 5 and ff 4 and ff 52 are the ones I have found)
- every time I boot up?
-
- Unlike so many other expert users on this list, my (and my Professor of Nursing
- wife's) writings are almost entirely in English, with only an occasional
- "foreign" word or letter.

- Our OSU computer maven has our Humanities Dean believing that it is the "wave
- of the future" for all of us to sit in our offices working off a big computer
- in a central office that sents out WordPerfect. Incredible how the 1970s won't
- go away!
